Service Description
FundGap is an AI-powered application writing service. We help Canadian businesses and individuals identify eligible government funding programs and generate draft application documents. Our service includes eligibility scanning (free), readiness reports, and full application packages.
No Guarantee of Approval
FundGap does not guarantee that any application will be approved. We write the application — the funding agency makes the decision. Our service is comparable to hiring a consultant to prepare your application. Approval depends on factors outside our control, including program budgets, evaluation criteria, and competition from other applicants. No refunds will be issued based on application outcomes.
What You Receive
When you purchase an application package, you receive an AI-generated draft document tailored to your business or personal profile and the specific program you selected. This document is a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing, verifying all information, adding your specific details, and submitting the final application. FundGap does not submit applications on your behalf.
Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for providing accurate information in the questionnaire. FundGap generates content based on what you provide. We make reasonable efforts to ensure our program database is current and accurate, but program details, deadlines, and eligibility criteria can change without notice. Always verify with the official program website before submitting.
Not Legal or Financial Advice
FundGap does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Our generated documents are informational drafts. For tax credits (SR&ED, DTC, etc.), consult a qualified accountant or tax professional. For legal questions about your eligibility or obligations, consult a lawyer. FundGap is not a licensed financial advisor, accountant, or lawyer.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All sales are final — we do not offer refunds for delivered application packages, as the AI-generated content is produced and delivered immediately upon purchase. If you experience a technical error that prevents delivery, contact support@fundgap.fund and we will resolve it.
Intellectual Property
The application documents generated for you are yours to use, modify, and submit as you see fit. FundGap retains no rights to your generated content. The FundGap platform, branding, and technology remain the property of FundGap.
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
FundGap uses artificial intelligence to generate application drafts and benefit guides. AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and correcting all content before submitting any application to a government agency. FundGap does not verify the accuracy of AI-generated content against current program guidelines. Program eligibility criteria, deadlines, and requirements change frequently — always confirm with the official program website before relying on any information provided by FundGap.
Your Responsibility
By using FundGap, you acknowledge that: (a) you are responsible for verifying all information in generated documents before submission; (b) you will not submit any document without reviewing it for accuracy; (c) FundGap is a writing tool, not an advisor — we do not assess your actual eligibility for any program; (d) any financial figures, tax calculations, or benefit estimates in generated documents are approximations that must be verified with a qualified professional; (e) rejection of an application is not grounds for a refund, as our service is the generation of the document, not the outcome of the application.
Refund Policy
All sales are final once the AI-generated document has been delivered. Because the content is produced and delivered instantly upon purchase, we cannot offer refunds for delivered products. If you experience a technical error that prevents delivery of your document, contact support@fundgap.fund within 48 hours and we will either deliver your document or issue a full refund. Application rejection by a government program is not a valid reason for a refund.
Limitation of Liability
FundGap's total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of our service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product in question. FundGap is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost funding opportunities, lost revenue, costs incurred based on information in our generated documents, or any decisions made based on our eligibility scan results. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FundGap from any claims arising from your use of generated documents or reliance on information provided by the service.
Program Database Accuracy
FundGap maintains a database of Canadian government funding programs and personal benefits. While we make reasonable efforts to keep this database current, we do not guarantee that all programs listed are currently accepting applications, that eligibility criteria are up to date, or that funding amounts are accurate. Government programs change without notice. The presence of a program in our database does not constitute a guarantee of its availability or your eligibility.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
